A Real Estate Agent is, by law, legally bound to assist only one party in a real estate transaction (single agency). A Transaction Agent provides third-party real estate services to buyers and sellers and remains legally neutral. They can assist the buyer and the seller in the transaction. Instead of acting as an agent for either party, the Transaction Agent can be described as a professional assistant.

Transaction Agent will meet with you to explain the entire contract process (and important deadlines) and depending on if you are a Buyer or Seller, will assist you in Contract/Counter Offer preparation, will prepare any additional Addenda that needs to accompany the Sales Contract, initiate contact with the co-operating agent, Lender (if applicable) and Title Company, confirm title search has been ordered, coordinate inspections, assist with any repair requests and responses, manage repairs, verify escrow deposit, verify appraisal, obtain utility information, coordinate closings, coordinate pre-closing walk-through and much more!
